Gift cards may be redeemed only for services provided by Shoreline Happy Paws.
The pet(s) receiving services must meet our service requirements, including:
No aggressive pets.
Pet(s) must be safe for our team-based operation.
Pet(s) and humans must be comfortable being handled by more than one team member.
Gift card redemption is subject to Shoreline Happy Paws' availability.
Services must take place within our official service area:
Essex, Deep River, Chester, Old Saybrook, Westbrook, Clinton, Madison, Haddam, Higganum, Old Lyme, Lyme, East Lyme, Niantic, Waterford, Groton,and New London.
Gift cards cannot be redeemed outside the service area, even if it is “just slightly out of range.”
If a recipient lives near a town border, we can confirm eligibility by requesting the specific address.

A Meet & Greet and/or Behavior Assessment may be required before services can be scheduled.
Redemption is not guaranteed until the client completes the onboarding steps, signs Service Agreement, and the pets are approved for care.
Current clients may redeem gift cards via the Client Portal on TimeToPet.
All services are subject to calendar availability.
Booking is first come, first served.
Holiday and peak periods fill quickly; advance booking is highly recommended.
Gift cards do not guarantee priority booking.

Meet & Greets/Behavior Assessments
Weekly Dog Walking
Dog Hiking Adventures
Homestyle Boarding
Cat sitting services
Doggie Adventure Bus (coming soon)
Any applicable add-ons, after-hour fees, or upgrade services
Gift cards do not expire.
Gift cards hold their value as a monetary credit and are applied to the total cost of services.
Shoreline Happy Paws is not responsible for lost or stolen gift card codes.
Any remaining balance stays on the client account and can be used toward future eligible services.
All gift card sales are final and non-refundable.
Gift cards cannot be returned, exchanged, or redeemed for cash (except where required by law).
Gift cards may be transferred to another pet household within our service area, provided the new recipient also meets service requirements and completes onboarding.
If a client books services using a gift card and cancels, the credit returns to the client’s account per our cancellation policy.
If a new client does not meet our service requirements (aggression, safety issues, out of service area, etc.), Shoreline Happy Paws may decline service.
In these cases, the gift card may be transferred to an eligible household but cannot be refunded.
If services cannot be provided due to safety concerns or pet incompatibility discovered during the Meet & Greet, credits remain on the account for eligible future services.
Recipients must be comfortable with Shoreline Happy Paws’ team-based operation model, meaning multiple trained employees may perform services.
We do not offer single-walker-only assignments.
During extreme weather, we may modify walk or hike services for safety.
Credits will be applied per our standard cancellation or weather policies.
Clients may combine gift cards with other forms of payment.
Only one gift card code may be applied per invoice, but balances can be merged manually by staff.
Gift card value is applied to the current service rates at the time of booking, not at the time of purchase.
Prices for services may change without notice.
Gift cards may not be used to purchase other gift cards.
Gift cards may not be combined with certain promotions unless explicitly stated.
Gift cards bought during a promotion retain their face value only.
Shoreline Happy Paws reserves the right to invalidate gift cards obtained through fraudulent or unauthorized means.
Verification may be required before redemption.
Purchasing or redeeming a gift card indicates acceptance of all terms and conditions listed above.
Shoreline Happy Paws may update these terms at any time.
